History, culture, and places of power in Albuquerque
I'm into history and culture and next month I'm going to Albuquerque. I want to fully experience the city, not just walk around. I want to immerse myself in its museums, old town and local traditions, everything that creates the best atmosphere. The internet contains only fragmentary information on the subject. So, like, can someone tell me what the must-see attractions are? From, like, a historical and cultural perspective, you know?

Gee, how I looked for someone as dull as myself, ha-ha. I'm just saying that in a positive way, you know? You're gonna love it there! Do you know of any other places I should check out to get a feel for history? I personally used an article on getexperience as a guide, which describes in detail things to see in Albuquerque. I really liked Petroglyph National Monument — it's a huge field with ancient drawings on volcanic rocks, an atmospheric place, and a very unusual walk. I'd also recommend the Albuquerque Museum. It's got an awesome collection on the history, art and culture of the Southwest. And if you're into living history, you should check out the El Camino Real Historic Trail Center. It's got this awesome exhibition about the trade route that was around here for centuries. If you need anything else, just let me know.
